The Card Table App Reviews

Ok, I have not testes the app yet but, since I had the same idea but not the time to do it, I very pleased to know that its feasible and, its working pretty well ! I hope for the developpers to continue on this next generation, asymetric tablet/smartphone game to produce other games with this engine (from board games to new creative games) ! Keep the good work going; I know the potential of these kind of app! Regards from France ;)

This version fixed the big bug where cards disappeared. This is great in a pinch if you dont have a deck of cards handy. Played go-fish with my son and he got a kick out of passing cards from the iPhone to the table. Controls are a little quirky. The touch-hold-release method to convert a stack of cards into a single, then touch-hold-release to separate them again is tedious. Might rather see one finger to manipulate the top card, two fingers to manipulate the whole stack. When switching out to another app on the phone during game play, the phone was unable to reconnect when returned to The Card Table. Had to end the game and start over to get it to reconnect.

This app is a great idea as a base to play games off of. A lot of potential for use with friends. Would like to see some ideas if anyone has some. My friends and I played a lot of 5 card stud and Texas Holdem. Worked all right but not much difference from a real deck of cards. I think programming some possible game ideas would give a lot back. Any ideas anyone?

App instantly crashes when I open it

This app is so easy my wife can do it! Really is flexible enough to play any game you can with a single deck. Cant wait for multiple deck capability.

Beautiful interface. Love this app. There should be an option to use an iPad as a hand. My family happens to have 3 iPhones and 2 iPads. The ability to use the extra iPad as hand will be really useful.

A really good app, but there should be a shuffle deck button and iPads should be able to hold their own deck of cards.

We were so excited to play tonight but were disappointed when the minis all wanted to be the table and didnt see an option to play as a hand. Our family has all iPad minis and only one iPhone in the house. Great idea. Cant wait for this feature.

I dont use Game Center nor do I wish to. This game requires signing in through Game Center. Dont bother.

Was trivial to install on devices & connect (everyone must log in to apple game center). Lovely interface but lousy tutorial. Wanted to play a game and it didnt explain at all how to play any games just a random hand of cards and no rules. Would make sense if had explanation available before getting everyone all ready to play and then FAIL no idea how to use this app. Yeah Im being that jerk writing a grumpy review after trying an app just once, but really all that effort into making a lovely UI and dynamic multi-device interface -- how the heck can you play ANY game on it Very disappointed

I have to wonder how hard it would be to add Apple TV support, and/or use iPads as hands. (I am thinking of my in-laws with less than perfect eyesight).

Love this app. I can see myself using it a lot. Keep the updates coming. I would like the ability to multitask (move to another app) without having to completely restart the game as it doesnt seem to reconnect without restarting.

Id like to see more predefined decks such as Euchre. Seems there are a few bugs to work out still. To those of you complaining that it makes no sense and there are no rules; what would you do of you bought a deck of cards - they dont come with instructions? Someone would have to teach you, youd have to buy a book, or Google it!

I have no idea how this app should work. Honestly, Id rather play with a real deck of cards than spend the time trying to figure this out.

I love this application! Its awesome to play cards even at times when it isnt convenient. In the park or at the Cafe I always have a deck of cards and a clear place to play!

Not sure how it works yet, bit looks promising! Needs better tutorial.

There are two games...I think, and we dont know how to play either. It said that it had ALL cards games in there. This is going to the Trash bin. Liar.

What a cool app. Cant believe the technology nowadays. such a fun type for me and the kids to play the closes thing to a gameboard. loved it!!!!
